Applause was formed in June 2007 and consists of a group of artists who have performed either professionally or with amateur companies or both.

Applause is based in the Kings Norton area of Birmingham and rehearses on a Thursday evening.

In addition to the performing members, Applause has a Musical Director, Stage Manager, Sound Engineer, Lighting Engineer, Props Manager, and Front of House Manager.

The aim of Applause is to produce cabarets of a high standard and to eventually stage a musical show.
